A great way to get started with Your Move and encourage more active travel at your school is to participate in events that are already happening! There are several options for your school to get involved with and the good news is they have readily accessible, downloadable, printable resources to help you get started! This is great because it takes a little bit of the work out of getting organised the first time you decide to join in. 

In March, you can participate in National Ride 2 School Day - register your event and check out the resources they have available. 

In May, it's time for National Walk Safely to School Day and there's a host of downloadable resources, event ideas and YouTube videos to help spread the message. 

In October, keep an eye out for WA Bike Month. There'll be heaps of great activities that your school can participate in, along with funding opportunities available to help your school run an amazing event.
