Wow! We are so impressed with the amazing efforts from our Junior Green Team in organising yesterdays whole school event - the TravelSmart Scooter Obstacle Course. Well done Neha, Dillon, Daniel, Heidi and Ava, you guys rock!!
After lots of hard work in the term and especially last 2 weeks leading up to this event, it definitely paid off with 32 students signing up, 2 teachers coordinating, 5 green teamies, 8 teacher helpers, 20-something students racing and hundreds of students supporting as spectators!! Miss Gillett and myself were blown away with how well the competition went and the overwhelming response we received from everyone involved. A massive thank you to you all! Photos and videos from the day will be uploaded to our photo album page and I have attached the trail of paperwork that allowed organisation of the event. I think it's safe to say that we have inspired a lot more students to ride to school and be able to participate in our awesome TravelSmart events! What a way to promote healthy living and active lifestyles!
