The Your Move Showcase yesterday was an educational experience in all terms mentally. It gave us a new positive outlook on failure and gratitude (and the monkeys on our shoulders... they're mean!). It gave us a chance to socialise with other schools that are also passionate about the program. We learnt about fun ways to boost our confidence (like power poses) and gave us a chance to bond with our teammates. The workshop speech that we presented about how to design your own logo took us out of our comfort zones, building our leadership skills. It was a fun experience overall and the the green team cant wait to go back next year! :)

Hi Keeley & Annisse. Thanks for posting your take on the Your Move Showcase. It certainly sounds like it all came together with a bang. I do wonder what these power poses might be! You have received 50 points for attending the showcase, plus another 40 points for presenting (and of course a little bonus of 5 points for not leaving it up to the adults to write about the day!). Your Film and Photography students really captured some of the elements and energy of the day too - well done.
