Ride2Work 2018 coincided with Orientation Day for new students at ECC, so urbi was there to introduce them to Joondalup's bike-share scheme. All ECU students/staff are currently enjoying free urbi use, and we've expanded the network with a new station at the College.

With many of the students new to Australia, about 35 people took the opportunity to go for group rides with our cycling coach Mel, learning about bike safety, road rules, and the best routes to take around Joondalup:

There was also a stationary bike challenge to see could cycle the longest distance in 30 seconds:

Hi Lisa, What serendipity! We always recommend going to 'where the people are' instead of 'making the people come to you.' It looks like you got a great turn out and hopefully inspired a few more students and staff to use share bikes for that 'last mile.'
