Staff, local residents and friends were invited to join People on Bicycles for a free guided bike ride exploring Cockburn Central and Cockburn wetlands and artwork.
Meet at 9am on Sundays at Mooba Cafe, opposite Cockburn Central Train Station. This is an explorer ride travelling at a slow/medium pace with stops at points of interests and/or photo ops. No rsvps required, just turn up and bring your happy self (and bike and helmet)! https://bit.ly/2OjJyIz

Hi Jillian, What a great communit initiative. How often do you run these community rides?

I have been trialling the rides every week for the past two months. We have a few regulars now. I have People on Bicycles helping build the group until habits have formed and the group meets and supports itself. It is using the same model that I used to start another group over ten years ago, which still meets each week for a ride. Members change over time, but the riders go on.
