Joint Bike Plan

The City of South Perth and Town of Victoria Park have embarked on a joint effort to deliver a comprehensive bike plan for the community by 2018. The Joint Bike Plan project aims to understand the needs of the cycling community and seeks to further develop the existing cycling infrastructure. We want to make the cycling network and facilities better connected across the two local government areas, which will make cycling safer and more convenient. The public participation phase of the Joint Bike Plan project is now open. Do you or know anyone else who cycles within the City, or through it? We’d appreciate it if you could let them know so they can participate! For any further information on the project please visit the City’s website or for specific enquiries please contact the City of South Perth 08 9474 0777 or Town of Victoria Park on 08 9311 8111.

Hello Rodney, what a great initiative! We find that local governments with great bike plans really do help create communities where people choose to walk, cycle and use public transport more often. I hope you get lots of useful community input.
