Honeywood Primary School is lucky enough to be part of the "Fathering Project".
This inititative is coordinated by a Dad at the school.
Fathers of students were encouraged to come along for the initial information session.
The Fathering Project encourages Dads to become more involved in their children's lives by participating in actvities together.
The group meets with dads and their children to complete active activities together.
The Fathering project is extremely beneficial to both the children and their fathers. It also creates a bond between dads in the community and generally links community members.
