Kindergarten Classroom Activity

Students in kindy have been looking at maps, following directions, and symbols and signs we use to give directions and share information.

Students created lots of their own maps, used Google maps to plan a journey around the school, looked for treasure using maps of the playground, and drew symbols on pre-printed maps, including some to give their friends directions to get safely from one place to another.

They also identified what the markings on the Kindy bike track meant, including the zebra crossing, arrows and speed humps.

It looks like a fun and challenging activity Danielle - looking at the Road Safety Maze it is not obvious even for a grown up like me which way to go! You have received 15 YM points for this activity.
