Planning session with SDERA CHAT

Honeywood Primary School met with a representative from SDERA CHAT last week to review the Silver targets set in CHAT for 2019.

Evidence was provided to Des, the Principal Consultant (Whole School Engagement) Road Safety and Drug Education Branch.

Des went through each target set for 2019 and evidence was provided to show that the targets were met to a satisfactory standard.

Three areas were assessed- Curriculum: Road Safety, Ethos and Environment and Parents and Community.

After evidence was provided it is pleasing to say that we have achieved our Silver targets and now progress to Gold. New targets will be set for gold in 2020.

I have attached a copy of the Curriculum document to provide an understanding of the targets originally set.

Great to hear that you are progressing through the levels with CHAT. Thanks for sharing how their review meetings work (I have given you 10 points for those details). The "Regular planning session" activity is more related to planning sessions with your student team, so no points for that this time :-)
