Real Crosswalks at the school

As part of our "Wheels on Wednesday" program the year one students made thier own signs to help with road rules during "Wheels on Wednesday"

It was noticed that many students on their bikes did not understand what to do when approaching a crosswalk.

Many incidental lessons during "Wheels on Wednesday" were had with students on their bikes.

As a result of this Honeywood Primary School has had two crosswalks permanently painted on the bike track.

We are so pleased that these permanent structures will help reinforce road rules for the students when riding their bikes or scooters.
