Ensuring that students are safe and act responsibly as they travel to and from the college is a task that our Deputy Principal Kevin Griffiths takes seriously. He presented some great Your Move messages about safe and responsible travel to and from school at each of our recent year group assemblies.
A short brief of his presentation is provided below...
1. Use the cross walk attendant and cross at the lights - no short cuts...
2. Fantastic to see the number of students riding on a regular basis. We want to encourage more of you to ride. Wear a helmet and have a substantial lock for your bike if you do...
3. Catching the Bus - A line up system has been put in place..no 2 x 2, go to the back of the line, be courteous
4. Trains - stay behind the yellow lines
5. Behaviour - you are JCCA ambassadors Watch your language, give full fare paying passengers your seat and be courteous and polite
The community are observing you. They listen to your conversations and monitor your behaviour. We get feedback, both good and bad!

Hi Donna - thanks for sharing Deputy Principal Kevin Griffith's assembly item. Great to see his practical support to increase walking, cycling and PT use. The YM assembly item has earned you 25 points plus a bonus 10 for outlining all the elements of the item.
