Favourable environment and health: What is the state of knowledge and where should we invest?

Louise Potvin is Professor at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, School of Public Health, University of Montreal and Director of the Institute of Public Health Research, University of Montréal and a researcher at the Léa-Roback Centre on Social Inequalities of Health in Montréal.

This work considered resources around food environment, mobility, housing and social capital in relation to risk factors, morbidity and mortality. Her main research interests are Population Health Intervention Research and the role of social environments in the local production of health and health equity.

The event will be held on Tuesday 5 December 2017 at QV1 Building Perth.
