Take part in the country's largest community tree planting and nature care event.

The City of Canning and Bannister Creek Catchment Group are hosting a National Tree Day activity at Lambertia Park, Ferndale. The project location is important as water flowing through this creek runs directly into the Canning River. The project aims to improve the drainage and habitat function of the creek by installing erosion control and tree protection measures in the creek, and planting native seedlings along the creek banks. This project is a State NRM funded project.
