WPS had an Open Night so parents could see what their children have been doing. The YM Team had a spot to show what we are doing to encourage families to use Active Transport. On show was some artwork from the Winter Fun Cover Up competition, our (working) display board & some "Please take one" goodies like Nature Play Passports, shoelaces, slap bands, magic paint sheets & if you were lucky the brand new YM pens! A computer was also set up displaying the YM website. Mitchell.

Charli's contribution:Open Night was after school between 3 & 6pm on Wednesday, 5th September. On display we had some of the Winter Fun Cover Up competition entries, our display board with our plans & we had some free things so people would come & check the classroom & start using AT. Some parents came in & we showed them our Star Cards & what they are about. We also explained how we use our planning board.

Thanks James. Wherever possible we try & have the students in our Team doing the writing. More often than not there are guidelines (eg Who, Why, What, When, How) but apart from that & the odd spelling or grammatical correction it IS their work.
