Where

James Cook Park
Corner Sirius Ramble & James Cook Avenue, Quinns Rocks, WA 6065

Take part in the country's largest community tree planting and nature care event.

City of Wanneroo, in conjunction with the Quinns Rocks Environmental Group, is hosting a National Tree Day activity at James Cook Park. This location is important because it is a Banksia woodland which provides habitat for fauna and is widely utilised by the public. We are aiming to rehabilitate the area with endemic species to increase biodiversity and beautify the park for the local community. This is a chance to learn about native flora and fauna and meet your local community.

When:

29July - 9am-1pm

Notes about the day for Volunteers:

Please wear appropriate clothing (a hat, long sleeves and long plants recommended, closed in shoes essential). Parking is available on James Cook Avenue and on Sirius Ramble. Drinking water and a light lunch will be provided.

Registration is essential
