Dress up in your favourite explorer/pirate/madcap outfit, and prepare yourself for some physical, creative and puzzling challenges!
Join in as many activities as you can throughout the mini course, and at the end of the 'hour of power' we will celebrate with a family friendly dance party and awards ceremony!
The Children's Museum of WA focus' on events that provide valuable learning experiences for young children and their accompanying older siblings and adults through play-based learning. Activities are designed to allow children to take control and share their imagination and creativity with others. The best-designed activities ensure accompanying adults have as much enjoyment as children, sharing the experience as co-learners and creators.
Join the Biggest, Bestest Treasure Hunt as a family, a group of friends, children verses parents, family against family!
Fancy dress is not a requirement, but is certainly an option, for children and adults alike!
The treasure ground will cover a small area around the base venue, so little legs, tired legs, wheelchairs,old and young alike will be able to cover the distance.
Children and adults alike will have the chance to be expressive, creative and join in physical and inventive challenges set up at various stations, and once the course is complete, head back to base for a dance party!
Every Treasure Hunter receives an 'Explorer Pack' upon entry, and once basic rules are laid out the hunting begins!
Helpers will be on hand at every station to assist mini explorers conquer every task, and ages 4 to 12 and their carers/families are welcome to join the fun!
Every day is a good day for The Biggest Bestest Treasure Hunt EVER!
