Update from the YMS team

Hello Your Movers! I hope you are all enjoying the winter sun we have had over the past two days. Perfect conditions for walking, riding and scooting to school. Everyone should have received the latest Your Move school’s newsletter which is jam packed full of good news, including the launch of the Connecting School Grants for 2020. The team looks forward to delivering even more bicycle related education, infrastructure and place-making initiatives through the grants program. Check out all the grants on offer in the Rewards shop to see what package your school would like to aim for and to set your accreditation goal for 2020!

With grants now on offer, this is a great time to start planning events and activities over the coming months, and we have all the inspiration you need in our Activity Planner. The planner has been updated for Term 3 so be sure to download the latest edition. We have added a new activity ‘Run a colouring-in competition’ worth 25 points which couldn’t be better timed with the National Walk Safely to School Day (NWS2SD) just around the corner on Friday 11th September, and the fantastic colouring-in poster on offer in the Teacher Toolkit. Download a copy and get your students colouring-in today to promote this great event day. We look forward to reading all the stories about NWS2SD and seeing all the masterpieces!
