Helping people navigate their way is important to support active transport. Using the bus or bike is easier if finding your way to the stop or bike cage is nice and clear.

Wayfinding can help us find our way, learn about our environment and encourage us to behave in certain ways.

Join us to learn more about wayfinding with active transport champions from local governments, schools and workplaces. The forum includes a wayfinding walking tour and a panel discussion with these practitioners:

  • Eden Shepherd, Principal Urban Designer, Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority
  • Ben Hames, Design Director, Axiom Design Partners
  • Darryl Butler, Owner and Director, Total Print and Signs

Hear and see why wayfinding matters for influencing travel choices, get some top design tips and find out what materials are available. Networking morning tea included.

The Forum starts at 9 am at the corner of William Street and The Esplanade, opposite Elizabeth Quay station. From there we will 'find our way' in small groups to the City of Perth library for the remainder of the session.

If you are running late please meet us at the City of Perth Library, 573 Hay St (near Perth Town Hall), Perth, by 9.45am.

This forum is suitable for people involved in our Your Move workplace program, Your Move Schools champions and local government representatives.

Please register here.

We looking forward to seeing you there,
Your Move Team.
