How the school program works

Congratulations for joining the Your Move program! You are now part of a network of people who are sharing tips and tricks on how to get students motivated to start moving and create healthy travel habits for life. Your Move is a free program helping students get active by increasing walking, scooting and riding to school.

Our travel behaviour change experts work with Your Move Champions to tackle traffic issues and help provide practical ways to teach & develop sustainability at your school. Read the steps below to get a better understanding of how this award winning program works.

Step 1 - Discover how your school moves

Use our quick and easy 'Hands up' travel survey to find out how your students get to school. The survey results are a great way to track your progress and promote your achievements to the whole school community.

Step 2 - Grow your team

Share the fun by getting others in your school community involved. Students love the opportunity to run their own activities, post stories and earn points for their efforts. A parent, a teacher, a deputy and a group of student leaders make a winning combination.
