Step: 1

Get started

Get familiar with our award winning website, which offers a huge range of handy tools and resources for organisations such as workplaces , local governments and community groups. Take a look around the site, learn from other champions and read about what other organisations have done.

Step: 2

Build momentum

Engage with people in your organisation and build support and momentum. Creating an action group can be a great way to create change in your organisation. You can create a new group, or you can add Your Move to the agenda of an existing sustainability or wellness committee.

Step: 3

Plan for success

Use the simple ‘To do’ list on our Activity Planner page to set goals you want to achieve each quarter and the steps you need to take to get there. It’s like a digital version of a Travel Plan! We have the online tools and easy-to-use templates to guide you through the process.

Step: 4

Make it happen

Run activities to encourage active travel in your organisation. You could do things like provide end of trip facilities, run events to encourage people to walk, wheel or ride more often, apply for a grant or implement an incentives scheme. It’s Your Move.

Step: 5

Share your stories and earn points

Tell everyone about what your organisation or community group has been up to. Stories posted can earn points for your organisation, which can then be redeemed for items in our rewards shop. Get inspiration and new ideas from what other organisations have been doing.

Step: 6

Spend your points on great rewards

Use your points to order items in our online rewards shop specifically chosen to support active travel initiatives. Rewards include leadership team t-shirts, bike and scooter racks, bike maintenance sessions and promotional tools.
