As a guide, if your school has reached Silver accreditation, you will be able to apply for a Silver grant valued at $1,200. If your school has reached Double Platinum accreditation, your school could apply for Silver, Gold, Platinum or Double Platinum, depending on the grant package you wish to be considered for.

What's on offer?
Funding is offered as packaged services and goods.

Please note, Double Platinum grant applications must be solely for the use of infrastructure projects.

For details of all services and goods available, please download the Grant Menu from the Connecting Schools Grant webpage.

How to apply
Visit the Connecting Schools Grant webpage and read all the key documents and tips to help you prepare for your application.

All applications are invited through Transport WA Grants (OmniStar), accessible in the ‘How to apply for a Connecting Schools Grant’ section of webpage. Transport WA Grants is an online grants management system, which offers a streamlined application, assessment and acquittal process.
Tip: we recommend registering for a Transport WA Grants (OmniStar) account if you do not have one. If you do have an account, we recommend checking that you are still able to access it.

Why apply?
Previous grant recipients have used grant funding to implement fun and practical projects that have helped increase active travel at their schools.
