The Department of Education’s Road Safety and Drug Education branch has published classroom-ready lessons to support schools in the lead-up to Ride2School Day. These PP to Year 6 lessons have been curated from Challenges and Choices resources and are designed to be practical, engaging, and curriculum aligned. The resources can be downloaded from Education Resources ready to use in the classroom. To support the delivery of road safety education, teachers can also order a range of classroom resources when downloading the lessons.
Schools participating in Your Move are encouraged to share a story of your Ride2School Day activities using the resources, to earn points for your school.
Support is also available through the Road Safety and Drug Education branch to help schools develop or review their approach to road safety and drug education and/or to embed road safety and drug education into Health curriculum planning.
