Connecting Schools Grant 2024-25: Everything you need to know

When do the grants open?

The 2024-25 grant round will open on Monday 28 October until Friday 15 November 2024. 
 

What funding is available? 

A total pool of $225,000 will be available in the 2024-25 grant funding round. There are four categories of grant funding available: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Double Platinum. 

As a guide, if your school has reached Silver accreditation, you can apply for a Silver grant valued at up to $1,000. If your school has reached Double Platinum accreditation, your school could apply for a Silver, Gold, Platinum or Double Platinum grant, depending on the grant package you wish to be considered for.

What is on offer?

Funding is offered as packaged services and goods. Below is a sample of packages which will be available for schools to apply for through the application process. Please note, Double Platinum grant applications must be solely for the use of infrastructure projects.

Am I eligible for a grant?

Eligibility to apply for grant funding will be linked to the Your Move accreditation level a school has achieved in 2024. 

Applicants must also have: 

• Achieved a Your Move accreditation level of Silver or higher by the grant closing date;
• Completed a start of year Hands Up Survey in Term 1, 2024 or within two weeks of registration (or date specified by DoT) where a school has joined Your Move after Term 1, 2024;
• Commit to submitting an end of year Hands Up Survey in Term 4, 2024 and a start of year Hands Up Survey in Term 1, 2025; and 
• Fulfilled all acquittal requirements for previous years CSG funded projects.

 

How do I apply? 

 All applications are invited through DoT Grants (Omnistar), accessible on the Connecting Schools Grant webpage. DoT Grants is an online grants management system, which offers a streamlined application, assessment and acquittal process.
