R U OK? Day is all about checking in, starting conversations, and showing we care. What better way to do that than with a walk?
This year, we’re encouraging everyone to celebrate R U OK? Day by stepping outside and walking together. Whether it’s a lap around the oval, a stroll to the park, or a walk-and-talk session, walking side-by-side is a great way to spark meaningful conversations in a relaxed and natural way.
Why walk?
• It’s easy, fun, and gets everyone moving.
• It creates space for real chats—no pressure, just connection.
• It’s a great reminder that small actions (like asking “Are you OK?”) can make a big difference.
You can keep it simple or get creative! Add conversation starters along the route, invite families or friends to join, or finish with a feel-good group activity. However you do it, walking together sends a powerful message: we’re here for each other.
So grab your sneakers, gather your crew and walk the talk this R U OK? Day. Because sometimes, the best way to start a conversation… is to take a walk.
