National Ride2School Day is back on Friday 20 March 2026, inviting schools and families across Australia to walk, wheel, scoot or ride to school and enjoy a fun, healthy start to the day.
It’s Australia’s biggest celebration of active travel and a great opportunity to help students build healthy habits, arrive at school energised and reduce traffic congestion around school gates.
Schools can register and access free planning and promotional resources from Bicycle Network, including posters, social media graphics and activity ideas to help make the day a success.
In Western Australia, WestCycle is supporting Ride2School Day WA with local resources and inspiration to help schools celebrate bike riding and active travel.
To boost participation, schools can also use Your Move points to redeem items from the Your Move Rewards Shop, such as bike bells or drink bottles, as fun incentives or spot prizes for students and families who take part.
