Have you started planning your active travel activities for Term 2? We thought we would highlight a few key events that are coming up this term that may help when you’re putting your plan together.

Complete a Your Move planning session this term and receive 20 reward points.
6 May – Your Move Schools Professional Learning: Creating Safer Crossings webinar. Your Move schools attending the webinar are eligible for 50 reward points. Post a story and earn extra points!
16 May – Walk Safely to School Day. Run an activity to earn 40 reward points and post a story to earn extra points. Check out our News article for inspiration.
22 – 23 May – Your Move Leadership Labs – Melville. An immersive two-day excursion for students in years 4 – 6 to engage in a series of workshops exploring some of the barriers, opportunities and benefits around active travel. Students then have an opportunity to work together to design their own initiative to implement at their school. Limited number of places remaining. Find out more or submit an EOI .
June – WA Bike Month Grants – submissions open. Did you know schools (including P&Cs) can apply for a WA Bike Month grant to run an activity during October? You’ll be able to jazz up your event by hosting a breakfast or giving away some great prizes. You’ll also receive 40 reward points for hosting a WA Bike Month activity! Stay tuned for more details.
3 June – World Bicycle Day. Celebrate by running an active travel event to earn 40 reward points.
5 June – World Environment Day. Add to the sustainability events at your school by encouraging everyone to walk, scoot or ride. If you run an active travel activity, you’ll receive 40 reward points.
18 - 19 June – Your Move Leadership Labs – Canning. Register your school’s interest by submitting an EOI.
20 June – Connecting Schools Grant acquittal deadline. If you received a Silver, Gold or Platinum Connecting Schools Grant for 2024-2025, ensure you’ve submitted your acquittal by 20 June 2025.

💡 The Your Move Rewards Shop now has Teacher Relief payment available for Your Move Champions to work on Your Move program planning or attend Your Move events.
