Workplace access audit

How easy is it for people to walk, wheel, ride or catch the bus or train to your organisation’s workplace? To encourage active transport choices to your workplace, it’s useful to understand the barriers and opportunities in and around your site.

You can use the Workplace Access Audit tool to check this. It asks questions about workplace facilities and practices, walking and cycling routes, public transport services and car parking. Use the questions to take a closer look at how accessible your site is and barriers to reduce and opportunities to promote. This should provide positive direction for selecting Your Move activities for your workplace.

The tool is a Word file so you can type in your answers and comments or paste content into another document.
