Looking for an easy way to get active and meet new people who live nearby?

Join one of our new Walking Circles for a fun, social walk to a local café, and an opportunity to connect with your local community. 

Why join a Walking Circle?

  • Get active – Easy, short walks perfect for any fitness level.
  • Social or solo – Walk with friends, join a group to meet new people, or go solo if you prefer and enjoy the sights of your local area.
  • Free tea/coffee/juice – When you arrive to a participating café on your first walk, you will receive a complimentary drink for getting started (*limited to the first 200 sign-ups).
  • No long-term commitment – Just one walk to start, and the rest is up to you.

How it works:

  • Register for walking circles today and we’ll help you make a plan.
  • Walk once or make it a habit – There’s no ongoing commitment, you can choose to participate once or make it a regular activity.
  • Enjoy your coffee, tea or juice – When you arrive to a participating café on your first walk, you will receive a complimentary drink for getting started.

City of Canning Walking Circles

Group 1

When? Tuesday 10th December at 9:45am.

Where? Start from home or a convenient local spot and meet up with fellow walkers at Lloyd Street and Mallard Way and walk to The Cannington Leisureplex.

 

Group 2

When? Saturday 7th December at 8:45am.

Where? Start from home or a convenient local spot and meet up with fellow walkers at Queens Park Reserve and walk to The Cannington Leisureplex.

 

Town of Victoria Park Walking Circles

 

Group 1

When? Thursday 12th December at 6:45am.

Where? Start from home or a convenient local spot and meet up with fellow walkers at Millers Crossing and walk to Laika Coffee. 

 

Group 2

When? Sunday 8th December at 7:15am.

Where? Start from home or a convenient local spot and meet up with fellow walkers at Fletcher Park and walk to The Daily Pour Kitchen.

Do I have to walk with a group?

No, you can choose to walk solo, join a group to meet new people, or walk with friends. It’s your choice!



Can I walk with friends?

Yes, you can sign up with friends or we can help connect you with a new group in your area.


How long are the walks?

Most of the walks are short and easy, perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a relaxed pace.


Is there a long-term commitment?

No, we ask you to commit to just one walk. After that, it’s up to you if you want to keep going.


How do I get my free coffee?

Someone from our team will meet you and others in your Walking Circle at your destination cafe on the first day you walk. Everyone can place their orders, and a member of our team will pay for it.


What’s the World Walking app?

The World Walking app is a free app that lets you track your walks and explore virtual routes around the world. This is an optional add on for Walking Circles participants.
