Community bike riding events
Have fun discovering Noongar boodja on two wheels!
You're invited to experience bike riding adventures with the whole family.
Join us for local guided rides that celebrate our Noongar culture, interactive riding challenges, and an evening glow ride. The events will include fun activities for kids, parents and carers too.
Hosted between March and May 2026, these free events will help build your confidence to ride a bike more often and explore local paths in a fun and interactive way.
Beeloo Riding Series
Explore Perth’s waterways with interactive, gentle-paced cultural rides around the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River) and Djarlgarro Beelier (Canning River).
The series includes one ride every week over four weeks throughout March. You can attend one or more sessions to discover cultural heritage, language and stories.
Glow Quest - Bike the Night @Long Park
Find the clues and light up your ride at Long Park!
Take part in an epic sunset ride along the brand new Long Park, situated beneath the elevated Armadale line.
Give your bike a glow up before a fun and gentle-paced ride that will light up the landscape.
Trail Blazer Bike Quest @ Whiteman Park
Find the clues, set the score, enjoy the ride
Have some pedal-powered fun around Peth’s iconic Whiteman Park!
Get the family together for a self-guided, self-paced scavenger hunt, where you’ll answer location-specific questions along the way.
Djeran Riding Series
Explore Perth’s iconic green heart with interactive, gentle-paced rides around Kaarta Gar-up (Kings Park).
The series includes one ride every week over three weeks throughout May. You can attend one or more sessions to discover cultural heritage, language and stories.
