Create a Travel Plan for your organisation

Looking to get your organisation active in Your Move? Promoting staff use of active and public transport can be a great way to achieve your organisation’s goals, like tackling parking issues or boosting health and well-being.

Where to start? 

A great way to get started is to use our concise Travel Plan template to get thinking about what you want to achieve and how to do it. A travel plan is a set of activities that an organisation implements to help manage how people travel to and from a site. 

Using the concise version of our Travel Plan template is an easy way to consider and choose the activities you want to run over the 6 to 12 months. See below for download link.

Get planning

Discuss it with your colleagues or set up a Your Move working group and capture your ideas on activities that you could do as part of your organisation's travel plan.

Add activities to the Your Move website 

Once you’ve identified activities in the travel plan template, transfer them to the ‘Activity Planner’ tool on the Your Move website.

That way you can plan when you will do them (Quarter 1, 2, 3 or 4) and ‘tag’ completed activities when you write a story about about what you did. This will automatically give you redeemable activity points on top of any other bonus points that we give you for writing your story.

Redeem your points for handy rewards

You can then redeem your points for active transport based rewards on our easy to use ‘Reward shop’.
