National Walk Safely to School Day

Lloyd Morris

Friday the 19th of May was National Walk Safely to School Day and Clarkson PS took part for the first time!

It was a beautiful morning and students and families met staff at designated points around the suburb and walked safely to school. Those joining us included Mr Mark Folkard MP, Ms Tracey Roberts MP, Cr Bronwyn Smith and a couple of constables from Clarkson Police Station. Our school mascot, Owlvis, even made an appearance to welcome walkers as they made it to school!

A healthy morning snack of fruit, toast and Milo was provided thanks to a grant from the City of Wanneroo.

It was a lovely way to start the morning and we look forward to participating again next year.
