Our series of "Have a Go" days for City of Swan employees to try out electric bikes were a success! E-bikes are now available for our staff to lease and ride to/from work. Just another reason to swap the car for a more sustainable (and fun!) mode of travel. Thanks to everyone that came down to check it out at out the Administration & Operations Centers and Swan Active Midland - we had a great time watching you zoom around!

'Swan the Move' car-pool morning tea

This story is related to Carpool morning tea

Thank you to all those who came down to our morning tea today to introduce 'Swan the Move'! This is a car-pooling program we are trailing as a one month challenge for Admin Center staff, here at the City of Swan. The event was a great way to get people together and engage in a discussion about car-pooling to work. Everyone got involved and gave great suggestions on how to improve the program moving forward. Lots of free food was also enjoyed by all!

Your Move forum

This story is related to Attend Your Move Forum

I was very fortunate in having opportunity to attend the Your Move Forum on behalf of the CoSwan yesterday and listen to an inspiring presentation by Dr. Jane Genovese. I came away with so many practical ideas to help us become effective and influential agents of change. I resonated with the notion that meaningful progress takes time and that it is all about doing the best you can with the resources you have. Excited to see what we'll do next!
