Thank you Your Move because over the last four weeks, Years 4 and 5 participated in Bike ED at Kyilla and Your Move has helped the funding of this program.

Each week lanes were set up on the basketball court along with cones, traffic lights, road signs and chalk was used to show the direction to ride in. Bike Ed’s aim is to teach students how to check and ride their bikes safely on foot paths, bike lanes and roads. The team from Bike Education showed students how to do the ABC check, emergency stop, indicate before turning or stopping and obeying road signs. Students appreciated these lessons as it taught us the skills and confidence to ride safely while still having lots of fun.

Great to hear that the Bike ED was well received and the students developed their bike skills and confidence. With Summer just around the corner, it's a great time to be getting on a bike!
