We are overjoyed to announce the successful completion of four weeks of exhilarating bike education at our beloved school! From October 23rd to November 20th, our enthusiastic students from Years 1-6 embarked on an incredible journey of riding awareness, safety signals, bike-related games, and essential riding skills.
What Did the Adventure Include? 🌈🚲
· Riding Awareness: Our students are now expert navigators, cruising through the school grounds with heightened awareness and confidence.
· Safety Signals: Armed with knowledge, our young riders are now fluent in safety signals, ensuring a secure and harmonious biking experience for all.
· Bike-Related Games: Who said learning can't be fun? Our students engaged in thrilling bike-related games, fostering skills while having an absolute blast.
· Riding Skills: From mastering the art of balance to executing flawless turns, our students have elevated their riding skills to new heights.
WA Bike Month Extravaganza 🎉🚴♀️
In celebration of WA Bike Month, Lake Gwelup Primary School didn't just stop at education—we put our skills to the test in a fantastic showcase of pedal power!
🏁 Slalom Relay for Years 1-2: Our little speedsters whizzed through a challenging slalom course, showcasing their agility and speed in an electrifying relay race.
🚴♂️ Slow Bike Race for Years 3-6: The older students demonstrated their finesse in a slow bike race, emphasizing control, balance, and the joy of a leisurely ride.
