Your Move Leadership Lab Excursion 2024 - Day One!

The 2024 Leadership Lab kicked off on Monday the 27th of May! The YOUR MOVE Leadership Lab workshops were held in City of Joondalup at the Kingsley Memorial Clubrooms! Our 9 students were excited to be invited to attend this amazing event. SPS through using some of our reward Points we booked a bus to and from the event!

Over the course of day one, the students rotated through four stations: learning new skills, knowledge and information about Your Move: Station 1, RAC (safer environment and reduce emissions), Station 2, Department of Transport- YM and behaviour change, Station 3, SDERA, and station 4, Mental Health and wellbeing (act, belong, commit). All these sessions gave the students lots of ideas and skills throughout the day. In their groups the schools discussed and completed activities and worksheets. These new skills developed confidence to pitch a successful project idea on day two.

Great team, Janelle and Joel from Aha! Ran a great session over the two days. It was a wonderful day full of exploring thoughts, sharing ideas and experiences. The students were inspired, motivated and excited to explore day two! We looked forward to return for day 2! Thanks, Your Move for a fabulous day one and an introduction to the Leadership Labs!
