On Friday 22 March we had LWLC Ride 2 School day!
The children got to dress up their bikes and ride to school.
At school we did a bike parade all of the other Years in Primary School came to watch.
In the week before the event all of the primary classes learnt about Bike Safety, we spoke about checking our wheels, oiling our chains and why we need to wear a helmet.
We had so much fun and the race track was very well organised, the children knew exactly where to go and there were no crashes!
Next Year, I think we need to have a bike area designated for our bikes and to be allowed to Ride them at Recess and Lunch.
