The Victoria Park Primary School Walking School Bus (WSB) has commenced for 2024! It’s now in its 7th year! It’s so great to see some new faces joining us on the bus!
We walk to school on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Very convenient for busy parents, and a great opportunity for the children to socialise, exercise and develop road safety awareness. Students in Years 1-6 are welcome to join in anywhere along the route.
An article has been placed in the school newsletter informing parents of this service. The WSB map and parent contract were also posted on School Stream just in case parents missed the newsletter. We hope our numbers grow over the next few weeks as the weather cools.
A very big thank you to the parent volunteers who continue to make this service possible. Your support is greatly appreciated. We couldn’t do it without you!

Hi Leanne. Another 'Bus' up & running. What a great effort from all involved! You have earned 90 points for restarting the Walking School Bus 2024, plus 25 points for the newsletter article. Nice to see the kids enjoying walking to school and love the colors on your Bus map!
